A local client asked for our collaboration in designing and producing a teambuilding activity for a company in the communications sector. The goal of the experience was to improve teamwork, leadership and communication whilst the participants all had a good time.
A Unique Location
In developing the experience, we chose a unique space in the city of Barcelona: El Poble Espanyol (The Spanish Village), a location built with the objective of representing a flagship village that brought together all the major characteristics of diverse villages across Spain.
Putting the group's skills to the test
In this case, we designed a fun and interactive game - Outdoor Escape Room - which put the various skills of the participants to the test such as lateral thinking, logical reasoning, speed, communication and the capacity for team work.
We broke up the participants into small teams, in which they had to solve a puzzle in less than 60 minutes - they had to decipher the secret code that opened a safe which guarded the antidote that would save the life of a scientist trapped in the Monastery of the Poble Espanyol.
The participants had to carry out the investigation together as a team and solve a variety of challenges in record time, including tests of math, of skill and of logic hidden throughout the Poble Espanyol.
Only by working together with 100% commitment were they able to solve the puzzle.
